"I love to travel, hate traveling alone "

Since taking early retirement in 2000 , I have been able to travel extensively and see many of the places I read about as a child. I enjoy learning about new places and meeting different peoples and eating different food: some wonderful, some not at all. When I'm home I enjoy cooking, eating out, the theatre, reading and spending time with my beautiful ginger cat and voluntary work at an animal sanctuary. Although I travel alone it would be more enjoyable to be able to share the experience with a like minded man. I frequently go on tours and cruises, these are certainly a good way of travelling when alone, however, to have someone to share the humourus things that happen when travelling would be great. I am looking to meet an articulate confident man who enjoys travel, eating out, the cinema and theatre, loves animals, isn't PC and has a humorous side to him ..OL

Sports and exercise:

Sport of any kind is a big turn off to me, I neither partipate or play, when very young I used swim and go horse riding but have never been interested in watch sport.

Interests and activities:

I enjoy dining out: good food and wine are one of life's great pleasures, I love the theatre and cinema, enjoy my time at the animal sanctuary, reading, travelling, watching TV and having friends for supper.

The main newspaper I read is the Times and occasionally the telegraph. I regularly have the Oldie Magazine and Delicious

Favourite Films:

Narnia, gone with the wind, the godfather, terminator, Paddington bear, Casablanca, the wolf of Wall Street, are some of the films I enjoy, quite varied but all have one thing in common a cracking story

Enjoyable evening out:

When I meet my friends we go for meals, or to the pub anywhere where the music isn't so loud as to stop us talking

Favourite Dishes:

I love trying different dishes, enjoy Indian, Chinese, Italian, Greek, Spanish and good English food, as long as the raw ingredients are good most food is acceptable to me

Ideal Holiday:

I love India, so going there would always please me, but so would Japan ( must admit it's on my list but haven't been yet) or perhaps Nepal or Bhutan, then again Spain and Italy would be good, then again New York would be exciting and what about New Zealand South Island been to North Island but haven't yet been to South Island.........impossible to decide
