Bernard Cornwell, Bill Bryson, George Orwell, Ian Fleming, Martin Amis, Roald Dahl, Sebastian Faulks, Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, Love reading, thanks goodness for my local library, not under threat of closing. Have most of George Orwells books and his biography.

Favourite Films:

Cinema Paradiso, Kind Hearts and Coronets, Maltese Falcon, Manhattan, The Seven Samurai, Some Like It Hot, Some of my favourites. Always find black and white films appealing.

Enjoyable evening out:

Cinema, Restaurant, Theatre, Love theatre, hopefully a play rather than a musical. Cinema is good, but choosey about films. Prefer foreign films, don't mind sub-titles. Got to be a restaurant as well!

Favourite Dishes:

Chicken Tikka, Lasagne, Lemongrass and ginger marinated chicken, Smoked Salmon, Spaghetti alle Vongole, All the above would be acceptable, but I've ticked my fav's.

Ideal Holiday:

Driving slowly around Ireland, Safari in Africa, Scuba diving in Thailand, What's the rush? Ireland is beautiful, so let's take our time to enjoy it. Or safari in Africa, never been there. Scuba diving in Thailand has been recommended by my family. Why not? Let's do all three.

a travel writer, To be able to write about your travels, and be published, must be a wonderful life.......perhaps James Stewart as well , get it?

This is because I am continually on holiday. I've enjoyed some great motorbike trips this year and friendly holidays with my walking group in Wales and Scarborough.
