Looking for an entertaining, solvent, intelligent, GSOH'd someone ..... in particular to share long breaks to some sunshine/culture/people watching likely to be by sea, river or lake during the endlessly damp British winters plus the occasional long weekend away in UK to do a bit of culture or even something totally daft. Bog snorkelling, cheese rolling, barrels of hot tar racing sort of stuff springs to mind (sadly more watching unusual things like these now, rather than taking part). Music festivals definitely on the agenda but am generally 'done' with muddy ones in a small leaking tent!
Currently looking for company on a trip to golden triangle + Varanasi and Shimla and then at some point a north west passage trip. (You hopefully know where all these are without looking them up; if you don't know where they are without said looking up, then I'm not sure we'd be much suited.)
Love dancing (no good at the joined-up stuff as am a bit of a free spirit musically) but sadly very few opportunities for any dancing these days. Bring back discos!
If I sound a bit full-on, don't worry, I enjoy my own company plenty and am often to be found tucked up with a book and chocolate around 10pm especially in the winter ....... I can be an old **** just like everyone else ..... just not ashamed to admit it .....
Nothing against dogs (tho' not keen on small ones) but I don't think obsessive dog-lovers have a place in my life and hopefully not on holiday, either! (Sorry, obsessive dog lovers!)
