I'm supposed to be a writer.Some writer eh? I can't even cope with this "tell 'em about yourself" stuff. Seems every other bloke on this site has written a warm, witty, chatty bio (some are so good I could date 'em myself!) and here's me, struggling for words! I could go on about what a laid back, romantic and sensitive guy I am,but it's probably the photograph that kicks things off. So what am I like? What makes me so special? Not a lot if I'm honest, but I do have a few redeeming features. I can be witty, funny, and I'm an incurable optimist and try as I might, I just can't seem to take life too seriously. Perhaps that's why it's slapped me in the face a couple of times eh?. I retired early from a national sales and marketing job with a multi national co. (yawn) to concentrate on writing. So far, there's a novel, 'A few days up North'. It's on Amazon Kindle! and two screenplays. I should warn you though, the novel has scenes of a sexual, nature and bad language. You'll love it! What am I looking for? Don't know, I really don't know until I see her. Attractive?.. I hope so. Fun? intelligent?... probably. Great sense of humour that matches mine? A soulmate?...impossible isn't it? It's all cliches just like every other bio on here, but what I do know is that she'll be someone who will make my heart skip every time I see her whether we've been apart ten minutes or ten weeks. I'm originally from the Midlands ,so if you liked 'Crossroads' you'll love me; if not bring an interpreter. I'm fit, can be funny and financially sound and I believe your life can change in an instant with a single 'phone call or by 'bumping' into someone. Anyway, if you really want to know more, talk to me. God, I haven't written so much for ages and truth is so much harder than fiction; there's no way you would have wheedled this much out of the hero of my novel without sleeping with him at least twice. But I'll spare you that! I've fancied lots of women in my life, but only found chemistry with two and a half of them. ( I'll explain later!)..of course, finding compatibility with someone to share your life with is good, but, in my view, unless you have that chemistry, you aren't going to sustain it ... I might be wrong, and it may be too simplistic, but I reckon that when you 'click' like that with someone, then everything else falls into place..... ..
