I’m a voracious reader with a real thirst for knowledge. I like nothing more than finding people with intelligence, vision and a passion for life, the universe and everything. Ideal Holiday:

Learning to paint in Provence, I almost went for ‘driving across the US’ but that’s lost its appeal since Trump. I was awful at painting as a kid, but I’d love to revisit it now and Provence is beautiful.

In another life:

an author, I’d love to have been in Paris after 1945 on the Left Bank, or in London in 1976 pogoing through early punk, or in Hollywood in the thirties - I could go on!
