I work full-time as a Company PA, as a Recruiter and in HR, within the Health & Social Care sector

Heritage:

I was born in South-East Africa, raised in Germany, but have been a UK resident for more than half my life. A recent genetic profile I had done suggests that my ancestral heritage is largely 'Northern and Southern European' with a few more far flung bloodlines thrown in. - I.e. the idea of nationality is a social construct.

Religion:

I am not religious and try and avoid narrow viewpoints. My tendencies are probably leaning towards Humanism, although I could say I am 'spiritual' in my appreciation of nature, animals, and human relationships.

Politics:

I try to avoid 'boxes', but generally support politics that strive to be fair and supportive to all people, that foster care and appreciation of the planet (now and for future generations), that are outward-looking, fostering diversity & inclusivity (i.e. that party doesn't exist or hasn't had a chance yet!).

Appearance:

I am not the long-legged curvy type, but rather smallish and slim with regular facial features

Languages Spoken:

German - I speak fluent English and German, and can understand snippets of other European Languages.

Musical Instruments played:

Violin - I used to play the violin as a kid/teen, and my children are quite musical and play various instruments.

Favourite Dishes:

Chicken Tikka, Handmade Pizza, Lemongrass and ginger marinated chicken, Mediterranean vegetables and Ricotta wrapped in Filo, Smoked Salmon, Spaghetti alle Vongole, Steak and chips, Tomato + Mozarella salad, - I like variety, with an emphasis on veg and fresh, local, wholesome/organic foods wherever possible.

Ideal Holiday:

Backpacking in the Himalayas, Driving across the US, Driving slowly around Ireland, Learning to paint in Provence, Lying on a beach in the Caribbean, Safari in Africa, Skiing in the alps, - I like authentic travel experiences and tend to avoid touristic crowds. Sometimes I enjoy more active breaks, but also like chilling on a beach or at the top of a mountain.

In another life:

A dolphin, a golden eagle, a tree, an artist, a dancer, a doctor, an explorer, a musician, a travel writer. - In my ideal existence I'd like to include elements of all of these...
